Baking with Mom---Fun Fun Fun

Kinsey loves to bake with her mom. She loves to bake cookies, bread and any other item of food that she can make a mess doing. It really is a joy to see her have such a fun time "being lik her mother". The ples sid of this is that I get to eat all of the goodies that are made. Actually, During valentines the girls baked goodies for their friends and for the basketball teams. It was fun for them to go and give the treats to the team. They really look up to those teens. They like to call each player by name and learn more about them. They are getting to the age now where they do not like for the guys to graduate, because they will not get to spend time with them next season. It is neat to see the relationships your children build with others.

January to June :)

Well it seems as though we are setting a record for writing on our blog twice a year. So in order to continue our blog without letting it die out, I am going to pick a few highlights of the year of 2009.

January and Feburary we were really busy with basketball season. The Lions finished up making it to the Final Four of the State play-offs for the second year in a row. We cam up a little short in the game but enjoyed a great season. Oue final record for the year was 26-6 we finished second in our region, as a runner up to the eventual state champs. Chad is having a little fun at the region championship game and toying with the refs a little. After arguing a call the officials told him to stay in his seat....so he did just that and continued to express his opinion about how he thought the officials were doing a GREAT JOB! Ha! Memories that last!

January

Well, we finally got snow! And the girls had such a good time playing in it.
Avery tried very hard to catch it in her mouth.

So cute!
We did not get very much, just a slight dusting, but it was wonderful.

We also took a trip to visit GiGi during
January and enjoyed it greatly.
Avery had a wonderful time playing games with GiGi.

And Kinsey loved hearing Grandma read to her.
It was a wonderful trip.
